“Modern Books, Jewish themes: A literary journey through Judaism” promises to be thought provoking and inspirational while increasing Jewish knowledge in an enjoyable, social way.    Whether it’s reading a book on Jewish parenting, a guide on how to respond to Christian missionaries, or debunking myths about Jewish women- all of the books in the series will increase knowledge and answer many of the questions people have about Judaism and Jewish practice. 

Following each book, we will meet for a discussion on a Monday at 7:30pm, at the DATA of Plano center located at 3198 West Parker Rd., Plano, TX 75075.  At times we may have a guest facilitator to help answer questions. 

This program is open to everyone in the Jewish community, both men and women.  There is no cost to attend other than the cost to purchase the books in the series (most will be available on www.amazon.com).

We are not allowed to own any chometz over Pesach (Passover). We must either dispose of the before Pesach or make a rabi your agent to sell your chometz on your behalf. Your chometz can be left in a sealed drawer or cabinet in your home for the entire Pesach.

Please be in touch with either rabbi to arrange this. This can be done anytime from now until Tuesday April 7th.
