No weddings are held

• We do not listen to music

• We avoid all public celebrations

• We do not cut our hair or shave (if one needs to shave for business, speak to Rabbi Zakon.)

Thursday night, July 16th is Rosh Chodesh Av.

Rosh Chodesh begins a period called “The Nine Days.” These are the nine days leading up to and including the fast of the ninth of Av.
