Monthly Book Club

At this week’s Jewish Living class my great student, David Moiger, told me of his Rosh Hashana resolution to read one Jewish book each month of the year.  What a powerful commitment!  It occurred to me how nice it would be to start a Jewish Book Club in DATA of Plano.  We will choose a Jewish book for each month ahead of time, and will meet at the end of each month to discuss the book.  I would love to know if there are others interested in joining this fabulous learning opportunity.  Please comment on the blog with your thoughts, and book suggestions.

    This is a wonderful idea. How about The Aryeh Kaplan Anthology I, since it is made up of multiple small texts, that could keep us going for a long time and may be faster to read and discuss.
